About Me
Hi,
I am a qualified and experienced primary school teacher who has retrained to become a childminder (registered with OFSTED in October 2019). I have 3 children of my own; 13 year old girl, 12 year old boy and 6 year old boy. I have since taken on several minded children, some of whom have moved on to start school.
I drop off to and pick up from Burstow Primary School and offer breakfast/after school sessions if required. Other nursery drop offs may be possible - please inquire to discuss possibility.
I have an enhanced DBS check and am paediatric first aid trained. We live in a semi detached house with large enclosed garden in the village of Smallfield. We do not have any pets and are a non-smoking household. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss the possibility of childcare.

Donna has been looking after our son for just over 2 years and I can honestly say that she is exceptional. It’s always difficult leaving your little ones with a stranger, but from day 1 Donna put us at ease and our son has flourished under her care. Her skills as an ex teacher ensure that each child’s needs are carefully tailored for and in the case of our son she has embraced his love for learning and he is now ready for pre school. Donna provides regular updates and pictures throughout the day as well as a daily report at the end of the day. Please note this attention to detail is not the norm and childminders like Donna are very rare. I would have absolutely no issue with recommending Donna and if you would like to speak to me directly I have asked Donna to provide my contact details, so please ask.
