Dear Parents,
I’ve been a professional nanny for 23 years. I completed the CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare & Early Years Practice (previously NNEB) in 2001 and, since then, have worked primarily in private homes specialising in the care of children aged 0 - 4 years.
I have newborn and multiples experience and lots of knowledge about all the joys and challenges connected to the toddler stage!
I absolutely love my job! I am passionate about engaging children in activities that will stimulate their development and I always encourage outdoor, creative & imaginative play. I love organising play dates & attending baby/toddler classes with the children in my care.
I have just renewed my Level 3 Paediatric First Aid Certificate, have a clean UK driver’s license & DBS check.
I have been with my current family for 3.5 years but, with both children starting full-time school soon, my schedule has opened up & I’m looking for evening & weekend sits as well as longer sits during the day from September.
I love animals (I have 2 cats) and am very comfortable working in homes with pets.

2012 - 2015: During this time I was working on my first novel and studying for a creative writing diploma so I worked part-time with a number of different families doing ad-hoc/temporary/emergency cover as needed.
September 2015 - February 2016: Sole charge. B2
April 2016 - 2018 : Sole charge. G6, B8, B10
Jan 2018 - August 2019: Sole charge. B,11 months, B6, G8
January 2019: Emergency cover: 2 weeks sole charge newborn.
2020-2021: Break during COVID
January 2021 - present: Sole charge. B, 5 months & newborn sibling born July 2021
My Qualifications
I studied the NNEB (Passed with Distinction) in 2001. This qualification is now known as the CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare & Early Years Practice which also covered Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene.
I renew my Paediatric First Aid Level 3 certification every 3 years & have a full UK drivers license.
My Availability
My role with my current family is changing due to the fact that both boys are heading off to school full-time in September. Since this is a huge transition for them I want to be available for the occasional school pick-up but this means I'll need to find other work around these times. So at the moment I am looking for evening/weekend sits and then longer sits during the day (from early morning - 1pm) from September onwards.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £16.50 per hour (gross)
Daytime/Afternoon childcare £16.50 per hour. Minimum 3 hours.
Evening childcare £15 per hour. Minimum 4 hours.
