About Me
Hello, I am a qualified nursery nurse and ofsted registered childminder. Having worked in day nurseries, as a daily nanny and in a primary school, I have excellent knowledge of the EYFS. I plan fun and stimulating activities allowing children to learn through play and help children to grow in confidence and independence. I love to get out and about with the children to various activities and our local park. I am also a mum to 4 gorgeous children, 2 teenagers, 1 about to start primary school and a toddler. I have a cosy home from home setting and cannot wait to welcome your children into our family.
My Experience
Over 20 years experience working in day nurseries, as a nanny and in a primary school for the last 17 years. As a result I have alot of experience working with children with special needs particularly children on the Autistic spectrum or have speech delays.
My Qualifications
NNEB
First Aid trained
Level 3 award in supporting children and young people's speech, language and communication.
My Availability
I have 1 full/part time place Monday-Friday
2 out of school hours care Monday-Friday

Symone is a fantastic childminder I was especially fortunate to have her look after my boys at short notice.
She was accommodating and planned an excellent range of activities from a nature walk to baking flapjacks which engaged both my boys. They came home happy eager to tell me about the activities completed and how they spent their day.
They loved talking about her two children. I really appreciated the updates she sent about my boys at lunchtime.
I would throughly recommend Symone and would not hesitate to use her again.

Symone is trustworthy and simply lovely. My child instantly warmed to her. She has a very calm and soothing nature- nothing phases her. Symone provides fun and stimulating activities as well as great day trips to toddler groups and parks. She is extremely experienced with Early Years and you can see this straight away in the way she reinforces positive behaviour, develops language and promotes learning through play. I felt blessed that Symone was able to look after my child for me.
