I am a mature nanny who loves working with children. I am a grandma to three beautiful grandchildren as my own two children have now grown up and flown the nest.
I am a happy, bubbly and thrive to make children’s experiences the best in my care.
My Experience
I trained as an NNEB nursery nurse when I left school. My mum said she always knew I would work with children as I have always been like the pied piper, with little ones following me since I was young. I nannied for a family with two boys when I qualified them went on to start my own family. I began childminding to suit my families needs. I then went on to work a in nursery and a primary school in reception year.
I have experienced working with children with special needs one being my grandson who has been diagnosed with autism and adhd.
I treat every child as an individual and help them to gain the skills they need through play and outdoor adventures.
I am passionate about my career and wish to extend it by finding a family who would like their very own Mary Poppins.
My Qualifications
N.N.E.B. Nursery nursing, child protection and safeguarding, first aid, makaton, BSL level 1 working towards level 2 and deaf awareness.
My Availability
