About Me
Hi my name is Lisa, we are looking for a childminder/babysitter to help us weekly with our 5yr old boy Harry. We require help from someone that can look after Harry from 7-9am and take him to Crossgates primary school, then pick him up at 3pm-6pm. I am a shift worker, however set days can be arranged if this makes things easier. During school holidays we would need Harry looked after from 7am-6pm.
My Requirements
Harry is a fun little boy who has a diagnosis of autism. He attends mainstream nursery here is Crossgates and will be going into primary 1 in August 2024.
Harry is a very intelligent, loveable little person but is an extremely high flight risk. All our exit doors are locked at all times. While walking outside Harry's hand must be held at all times as he has little danger awareness.
We are looking for someone who has a lot of experience of working with children with autism and who can be reasonably flexible regarding shift patterns. I am a nurse and know my off duty approximately 6 weeks in advance so can give you plenty of notice regarding the availability we need.
