Hi, I’m 29 years old and have been a teacher for 7.5 years in primary schools. I love to read, exercise and go for long walks with my dog.
My Experience
I’ve been babysitting since I was a teenager, so have always enjoyed working with children. I have worked with children in a play centre for 5 years before qualifying to become a teacher. During my degree, I worked with many children of different ages, abilities and backgrounds. I currently teach in year 2 and have taught in KS2 professionally. I’ve been a private tutor for 2 and a half years. During my time tutoring, I have worked with children to mostly build confidence and enhance their understanding. All of my sessions are completely individual to each child’s needs. I’ve tutored children aged 4 upwards, including those with SEND. I really enjoy tutoring as it allows me to work on specific skills with children as well as see them make progress on a much more personal level.
My Qualifications
I have a full DBS check, and I have a BA hons Degree in Primary education
My Availability
I am available all through the holidays to have booster tutoring sessions to try and reduce “brain drain” between the school terms or even give your child the opportunity to improve before the year begins.
