About Me
Clem & Tinies Childminding is a husband & wife run, Teddington based Childcare setting open 8am - 6pm, exclusively for full day care for under 4s!
Clem & Tinies was founded in 2019 by husband & wife team Clemmie & Dale, having left their jobs in Restaurant Management for a more family focused life in beautiful Teddington.
Clemmie and Dale recognised the need for a home based childcare experience that really focussed on the great outdoors, incredible food and learning and development in a home from home environment
Having discovered there are many transferable skills from their world of hospitality, they make sure each child is fed hot, fresh and healthy meals. They explore local parks, playgrounds, woods and greens to fill little minds with adventure and fresh air, as well as a picnic or two!
The playroom is cosy, warm with child led play encouraged and the kitchen is used for baking cakes, flipping pancakes and daily yoga sessions!
If our Tinies aren’t outdoors, practicing Yoga or cooking, they will be getting sticky with glue and paint or loudly belting out their favourite rhymes!
Clemmie & Dale work together as co-childminders and are registered with Ofsted. They are commitment to following and thriving from the EYFS Frameworks to ensure children are learning, developing and achieving every day they are at the setting.
Please note we charge hourly with a minimum of 8 hours required per day. We are open 8am - 6pm all year round excluding Bank Holidays and our own annual leave (around 4 weeks per year)
Due to the nature of the activities and cosy environment of the playroom we recommend Clem & Tinies for little ones between 9months & 3 years (before preschool)
Clemmie is also available for evening and weekend babysitting!

OFSTED REGISTERED, Paediatric First Aid Course, DBS checks. Preparing to Work in Home Based Childcare Award Level 3. Food Safety, Safeguarding Level 3

- Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
We charge £9.25 an hour for Childminding. This is inclusive of all food, resources & outings

Clemmie and Dale came into our lives during the start of the Covid-19 pandemic in July 2020 when our son was just turning one. When all other support fell through, Clemmie and Dale welcomed us with open arms and cared for our son so thoughtfully and collaboratively with us. We have absolutely adored the environment they have created in their home, and feel so lucky to have found them. Our son was a regular attendee for 2 years until he 'graduated' to nursery at 3.5 years old, and our daughter also has been under Clemmie and Dale's care for the past year.
Highlights of Clemmie and Dale's include healthy home cooked meals and snacks for the children with varied menus each week, daily trips rain or shine around Teddington for the children on their cargo bicycle (library, garden centre, local parks and playgrounds), welcoming clean environment and garden, dedicated cots / bedrooms for naps, detailed Whatsapp daily diaries with photos of adventures and activities as well strong and consistent ad hoc communication, toy rotations and crafts / baking / developmentally appropriate activities.
Tantrums, separation anxiety, illness, arrival of a sibling, sibling relationships, big transitions, suspected allergies...Clemmie and Dale have helped us through it all with kindness and utmost care.
Clemmie and Dale have been such a wonderful support for our family and we really don't know what we will do without them when we move out of London soon. I cannot recommend this setting enough. It truly is the best, and we have toured every nursery, interviewed several nannies and other childminders in Teddington...nothing compares to Clemmie & Dale.

Clemmie has been amazing with our two children who are 1 and 3. Since moving our oldest son from nursery into her care in January we haven’t looked back. He is so much happier and absolutely loves being with her. My daughter has also settled really well into her setting and I have absolute confidence in leaving them with her and knowing they are going to be really well looked after and happy.
Clemmie is passionate about the care she provides and we are always welcomed with a big smile at the door. Before lockdown she took them to classes and playgroups most days, exploring different ones and trying new things to see what they liked. Since lockdown she has been really creative and has gone out of her way to equip her setting with interesting new toys and stimulating play features to keep them entertained and to help them learn. She also makes sure they get out the house everyday for a change of scenery.
My son has really developed since being in her care and they been working on the alphabet and phonics and he is now writing his name! My daughter enjoys playing with her son who is a similar age. Both kids love her dog Iver who is very gentle and friendly. At the end of every day she provides detailed feedback and it’s lovely to get the various artistic creations!
We have been delighted with Clem & Tinies childcare and would highly recommend this setting.
