About Me
Hi, I'm Claire and I live just outside Lincoln. I love working with children; seeing them grow and being able to support their development and enhance their learning. I find it so rewarding when I have been able to have a positive impact on a child, and their family's, life.
My Experience
I have over 14 years' experience of working with children. This includes 10 years working in a preschool which catered for children aged 2-5 years and, for 4.5 years, my role was Deputy Manager. I have also worked as a SENCo, a one-to-one for a child with autism and as a carer for a child with a range of medical and behavioural needs. I have been babysitting for many years and have looked after children aged between 3 months and 15 years old. I have experience of working with children with English as an additional language, speech delays, autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, diabetes, epilepsy, anaphylaxis, asthma, hypermobility, etc. I have had training in PEG feeding.
My Qualifications
FdA in Applied Studies (Early Childhood) (Distinction)
Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce (Early Years)
A levels: Spanish (A), Psychology (A), Sociology (A) and Philosophy and Ethics (B)
AS level: Mathematics (A)
GCSEs: 10A*, 1A
I have a current paediatric first aid certificate.
I have completed the 10 week Elklan course: Speech and Language Support for 3-5s.
I have attended a range of courses, including: Safeguarding, Autism Awareness, Promoting Positive Behaviour, Developing Quality Environments, Food Hygiene and Safety Level 2, Baby Care etc.
My Availability
I currently have no availability during the daytime and very little availability for evening babysitting.

I was quite nervous as I had never had a babysitter before Claire, and my daughter was about 11 months old. Claire was so great with her, and my little one enjoyed her thoroughly. Claire is also very flexible and she is just excellent. Highly recommended!!

We started using Claire as a babysitter, when our youngest was at pre-school. All 100% positive, we felt that our children were in the safest of possible hands with someone that was completely reliable, trustworthy, professional and knowledgeable.
My daughter has an Epipen and we also felt safe in Claire's knowledge of anaphylactic shock and treatment.
We have recently stopped using Claire as my children are now older. But I would not hesitate to recommend her to others, children love her. She has a gentle, calm manner, genuinely cares about the children and keeps them entertained, happy and learning.

Claire is absolutely brilliant with children, our son loves spending time with her and she really captures children’s attention. She’s taught him so much in a short time, building his confidence and his knowledge through play so that he hasn’t realised that he’s learning.

I would highly recommend Claire for any babysitting or Nannying work. She is absolutely fantastic with children and my girls always look forward to seeing her. Claire is also very professional, reliable, trustworthy and always has a smile on her face.

Highly recommend Claire she is a lovely caring person who has looked after my children and she is professional but gentle.. I would recommend Claire 100 % for Nanny or babysitting . My little girl Sofia loved her and could not wait to see her the following day..

Claire is an incredible baby sitter. My kids are always excited to have her and she does so much with them and more!
She is always on time, incredibly generous and caring, trustworthy and reliable. We couldn’t ask for anyone better to have the kids for us. If I could have her as a live in nanny I would!!

Claire has been a marvel with my two grandsons while they were at pre school.
Claire was exceptional while taking care of my younger grandson who is autistic. He was a total handful but Claire's gentleness and perseverance ( as well as a happy smile always ) helped him through two years.
He actually cried when he had to leave Claire to go up to school.
A wonderful lady with all children , no hesitation in recommending Claire.

I have used Claire to take care of my three children on many occasions in the last 9 or so years. I have also recommended her to many of my friends. My children loved being looked after by Claire and I would trust her implicitly. I would have no hesitation recommending Claire. She was also the key worker at pre school for my youngest who is now 7.

Couldn't recommend Claire enough she's fantastic 😊 Claire has been looking after my three children aged 7,6 and 3 since they were babies. My children also attended Pre school with Claire which they really enjoyed as they knew her really well at this point. She is friendly caring and really interacts with the children playing games and creating fantastic relationships with them. She is also great at adapting to children's individual needs ensuring they are happy, well looked after and ensuring your child's routine isn't disturbed such as bed times and meal times. Xx

My children countdown to days when Claire is due to babysit like they are counting down to a birthday! She has a very special nurturing approach and the most wonderful ability to care for children. Whatever it is that makes someone naturally amazing at looking after children.. Claire has it by the bucket load! With 4 children aged between 2 and 12 Claire regularly babysits for us and I could not recomend her more highly. She always responds really quickly and goes out of her way to help!
