Hi my name is Vicki, I am a 36 year old Mum of 2. I am looking to fill my own cup now I have some spare time.
Alongside having life experience having my own two children, I have experience working with 0-5 year olds in a professional setting. I am energetic, creative and enjoy exploring the outdoors. I have an energetic, football loving 7 year old boy which means I’m pretty much a part-time goal keeper! I also have a 16 year old daughter who uses my skills as a personal taxi driver, cleaner and cook ?. I am an empathic, nurturing person and who builds positive relationships with children easily. I can help with other duties within the house as I know how busy adulting life can become!
My Experience
I have two children of my own, 16 year old girl and a 7 year old boy. I have 16 years experience in the childcare sector.
My Qualifications
I have an SVQ3 in Childcare and Education that I completed in 2015. I also have a BA Degree in Childhood Studies that I completed in 2024. I have up to date mandatory training such as First Aid and Food Hygiene. I am a Senior Early Years Practitioner for a local authority nursery for 3-5 year olds where I have worked for over 10 years. I have an extensive training record relevant to early years and young children, some examples are Outdoor Learning, Maths and Literacy training and Autism Awareness. I am currently doing a Behaviour Management Course.
My Availability
I have availability for Monday and Tuesday during school hours 9.30-2.30pm, I am available some weekends that work with my own childcare arrangements. Fees are between £13 & £15 per hour this is depending on duties, number of children being cared for or travelling distance. I can also do the occasional Friday evening but this is limited to once every 6 weeks and after 6.30pm.
