About Me
I am currently a part time Secondary school teacher with two children of my own in years 3 and 5. My passion is to ensure equality in education by closing the gap between different groups in education via mentoring/tutoring. My costs reflect this value.
My Experience
I have been a secondary school teacher for over 12 years. In that time, I have taught humanities based subjects both at Key Stage 3 and 4, Philosophy and Law A levels as well as Business studies BTEC. Additionally, I have tutored GCSE Maths, I have provided Saturday intervention maths classes for Year 7 pupils and have taught in Year 4 at Primary school. I have taught both literacy and mathematics (White Rose). Literacy has been planned by myself and has incorporated grammar, comprehension and reading using the Oxford Tree Levels.
My Qualifications
QTS, BA (hons) Philosophy First Class, Post graduate diploma in Law, NVQ level : childminding, A levels in English, Mathematics and Statistics as well as Modern History.
