About Me

Hi! My name is Valia,
I am professional passionate about early years, children’s development, mindfulness and creative play. In my work I value meaningful connections and I feel motivated being present and contribute in their development. Watching a child thriving in their own unique way it's what makes me love working as a nanny.

With 5 years of hands-on experience, alongside my knowledge in child development, I have worked as a nanny, babysitter, teacher and therapist. I have cared for children of various ages, from 0-7 providing daily nanny support.

My approach is Child-Centric. Rooted in creating safe and nurturing relationships with the children, where they can be heard, seen and experience safe boundaries. With nurture and robustness, I support a child to develop and thrive. I enjoy organising creative and stimulating activities, including arts and crafts, reading, and outdoor adventures, offering Montessori-based activities and techniques.

I pride myself in building strong relationships with the children and parents. I encourage communication where parents can feel respected and heard, and I can feel empowered in my role to do the best for their children.
