About Me
I love my job! I will be returning back to work in April 2022 after having a two year break! I have revamped my setting and incorporated a loft library with a sandpit. I have converted my cupboard into a play-den allowing children to use musical instruments, puppets, or just "chill-out" with sensory toys and cushions. I will be caring for 6 children with an assistant. I provide a warm stimulating setting with all 7 learning areas set up. I have a decked garden area with a play-house set up with a role-play and small world/story area. There is also a mud kitchen, sand and water area. Tasty meals are chosen by myself as key worker, and the parents and children. Healthy snacks e.g. fruit, yoghurt, bread sticks, raisins and rice cakes. On a daily basis we go out whatever the weather!!!
My Experience
I have worked in nurseries for 20 years, looking after the ages of 8 months 16 year olds in after school clubs. I now care for children in my home.
