About Me
Hi, I’m a 39 year old mother and foster carer, I have been married to my husband for 17 years, we have two dogs . I generally foster babies before adoption. This can leave me without a of periods of time with no child in placement. I have two children of my own (ages 12 and 14) and one of my children has Autism, ADHD, OCD and anxiety. I am looking for part time/flexible work. I have a DBS which has portage for any setting.
My Experience
I have worked in childcare most of my working life. I have lots of experience with children of various ages, I was a childminder at my previous address and loved it! I cared for children from 6 months old to 12 years old. With my fostering role I foster various ages but mostly newborn-6 months. I have also worked as a room leader in nurseries and preschools and as a nursery assistant, etc.
My Qualifications
I have a diploma in childcare, health and social care level 3. A home based childcare qualification, foster care qualifications, first aid certificate is kept up to date. Safeguarding level 3, a variety of childcare based qualifications including behavioural, therapeutic parenting etc etc.
My Availability
My availability can be variable I would like flexible work/bank staff/babysitting/house sitting etc to fill in gaps in employment etc.
