About Me
23 years old. I have recently finished my Masters degree in Geology at Edinburgh University, and have moved back to Banchory for the time being before starting my PhD next year! I love getting outdoors, especially hill running, orienteering and cycling. I also really enjoy cooking, baking and arty stuff too. I’m looking for childcare/babysitting/nanny jobs, preferably in and around Inchmarlo/Banchory/Aboyne. Available to start from the 17th of September.
My Experience
I have 4+ years of nannying and babysitting experience. I can provide references. I am a volunteer coach for my local orienteering club as well as the Scottish Junior Orienteering Team, where I am responsible for kids age 6-18 and love seeing them enjoy the sport and getting outside. I have also worked as a sports leader at Aberdeenshire Active Schools holiday camps and have been a volunteer leader at the Rainbow Girl Guides.
My Qualifications
I don’t have any official childcare qualifications. I am part of the PVG scheme. Undergraduate and Masters degree in Geology from the University of Edinburgh. I have life guard qualifications which includes first aid training. I also have young leader coaching qualifications in running.
My Availability
Any time, available daytime and evening. I will be able to do some weekends, but I will have to know in advance as I often have running races on weekends. I have a car, so can do pickup/drop off and take the kids on wee days out.
