About Me
I am a childminder in Leicester caring for my own 2 year old son as well as two 1 year olds. I currently have a part time space available.
I have five years experience as a nanny as well as experience of caring for older children with Special Educational Needs.
My Experience
I started as a Nanny for a two year old girl which I thoroughly enjoyed! After the mother had a second girl a few years later I helped out for a few weeks before starting a new position whilst she was on Maternity leave. During this time I was Nanny to 1 year old twins and an 8 year old girl for 9 months.
I then worked back with my original family for over a year.
During the pandemic I worked as a nanny looking after school aged children whom I helped to home school.
I have experience with special needs as I worked in a Children's home with four children/young adults, all whom had special needs such as Autism, OCD and challenging behaviours.
I have now been childminding for a year and have my son son who is now 2.
My Qualifications
I have a 2:1 degree in International Development from The University of East Anglia. I am paediatric first aid trained and have completed common core skills in childcare as well training to become an Ofsted registered childminder.
