My Summary
About Me
Hello, thank you for your interest. For the last five years I have been studying for a BA in Childhood and Youth Studies. To support my degree I have been training in the childcare sector while working and volunteering alongside children and young people. Currently I am a childminder's bank assistant, a part-time nanny and just recently a playworker for my local school.
I am DBS certified, trained in paediatric first aid and safeguarding, and appropriately insured. I am happy to share all of my certifications digitally or in person with you.
My Experience
Treebug Childminding (March ‘22 – present)
We care for and educate babies, children and young people aged 1 – 12, including neurodiverse children. We facilitate a self-directed learning approach using consent-based sociocracy principles and play therapy.
Our Tree Childcare (October '24 - present)
I nanny babies and children aged 1 - 11 alongside my two home-educated children. I offer gentle, consent-based care, influenced by RIE and aware parenting.
Playworker (Nov '24 - present)
I facilitate a playful and educational environment for children attending the after-school club at my local primary school.
