I am a nanny with 27 years child care experience both as a nanny and working in a school as a teacher assistant. I have worked in a special needs unit within a school where I have been there for 6 years . I currently am nannying for a 11 month old baby and have looked after him since he was 3 months old. I have an 20 year-old son and live in the south croydon/ Sanderstead area. Looking for a nanny or special needs nanny position for 3 days -Mon- Wed
My Experience
I have worked in childcare for 27 years, as a nanny for 14 years and currently as an HLTA (higher-level teacher assistant) within a special needs unit. I specialise in overseeing the education, social, emotional and language development for children with all varieties of learning difficulties ranging from autism to cerebral palsy, for children aged between 4 and 11 years.
I enjoy taking children to a variety of places so they can socialise and learn valuable life skills . These include toddler groups, Woods ,library , swimming , soft play , park Etc.
I feel that sensory play is important too for their fine motor skills , examples of these are cornflour , sand , water , rice , pasta etc .
My Qualifications
NNEB, HLTA, Autism Course Diplomas, First Aid Approved, Full Driving License,
My Availability
I am available to work 3 days Monday to Wednesday from September as my current nanny family are relocating for work.
