Hello Welcome to Monkey Moosh.
My name is Munira I am a registered childminder living in Warlingham with my husband, two lovely children and 5 chickens . We live next to the Whyteleafe Recreation Park so that gives us lots of opportunity to be out and about.
I am a qualified (NVQ Level 3) and experienced child care practitioner with loving, caring and friendly personality, children tend to bond with me easily and are happy in my company. I possess over 10 years of experience working for some of the well renowned nurseries in England. I also hold certificate of Child Psychology Diploma which I have passed with distinction. I’m also registered with Rutland Early Years childminding Agency (childminder’s agency who are regulated by Ofsted)
I have built a happy, cozy and secure cabin in my garden with its own separate well equipped garden, kitchen, toilet and sleeping area.The area has been carefully and lovingly designed to promote age appropriate learn through carefully planned daily routine which include wide variety of age appropriate toys, role play, fun activities, play dough, games arts and crafts, visits to the parks, play groups, library zoo and soft play all the while have lots of fun. My aim is to provide a safe and a caring environment for children where they can develop physically, emotionally, socially and mentally.
I follow the Early years foundation stage curriculum to work with parent to meet their child’s individual need to follow and document their progress as well as helping them achieve their next age milestone.
I provide freshly cooked health and nutritional meals including healthy snacks.
I have been working mum myself and I am aware of the challenges parents have to face to strike the perfect balance between work and kids. Therefore, I provide flexibility and reliability to look after your little gems.

From the very first settling-in sessions, Munira proved herself to be the most attentive and caring childminder. She is very experienced but, at the same time, is happy to listen to the wishes and requests of parents and to meet them wherever possible. She works hard to help every child to reach their potential and to feel included and valued. This was particularly important to us due to the fact that our daughter has Down’s Syndrome. Munira went over and above to help her to feel a valued and important part of her setting. A small example of how happy our daughter was is that we have recently celebrated our daughter’s birthday and nearly all of the children and parents at her party were from Munira’s setting (including Munira, her assistant and their families). At all times, I felt that our daughter was in the best of care. She loved playing there, made friends, grew in her independence and loved eating Munira’s delicious meals. We could not have been happier at the 18 months that our daughter spent there.

We’ve been extremely happy with Monkey moosh! Our son loves Munira and Lisa and they take such good care of him. He loves the toys, activities, playing in the garden and the little friends he’s made. He’s even picked up numbers and alphabets really quickly with their support!
We require different hours each week but they’ve been so flexible and accommodating.
We highly recommend them!
They also provide great meals - our son can’t get enough and often eats better than he does at home!

Munira and Lisa looked after our daughter then son since 2021. Both our children loved Monkey Moosh, and the second has just moved onto school. The cabin is a great, contained setting, full of toys and resources, though can get noisy (as any place would with small children) so its handy there is also the garden and park. When a child has shown an interest in something they embrace it and explore it together (e.g. pirate adventures in the park or building rockets for space and construction). Monkey Moosh was accommodating when we needed an extra day or to swap sessions, and was useful to have open throughout the year. We liked that they sit down together for meals. Munira and Lisa have been warm and supportive to our children, who still look out for them in the local school playground, both talk about their friends from Monkey Moosh and how much they liked Munira and Lisa. It was always clear at drop off and pick up that they have a great culture and rapport with all the children. Overall I would say it was just the setting we needed, great preparation for going to school without the children realising that, and if we had another child we would want them to go to Monkey Moosh too.

Munira and Lisa are an amazing childminding team. My daughter runs in and gives them a hug! She has been going to Monkey Moosh for a couple of months now and will keep going for a long time. The space is perfect and my daughter loves the books, the toys and the garden! Especially the chickens! Thank you, Munira!

We were so lucky to have come across Monkey Moosh on this website. Munira has been so great looking after our 3 year old daughter. She is very flexible and can always accommodate parents and the child's needs. Our daughter have enjoyed her time at this setting where she have developed, have enjoyed different activities everyday and made great friends. She was also fed healthy and fresh food everyday. Monkey Moosh is highly recommended.

We trust Munira completely to keep our daughter busy, safe and happy. But now than that, we trust her to always be kind, patient and caring as well. Her cabin is a great environment which gives monkey moosh all the advantages of home-based childminding, combined with the advantages of a nursery. We very highly recommend her.

We really could not be happier with the care Munira has given our little boy over the last year. Munira is kind compassionate and caring with each and every child under her care. Jack has excelled while being at Monkey Moosh. Jack absolutely loves going to Munira’s which is so comforting as a parent. I know he is well looked after and most importantly very happy while he is there. I could not recommend Monkey Moosh enough!
