About Me
Mary Poppins was my idol as a child, because of her spontaneity, singing, dancing, attention to detail, disciplining in a cleverly playful manner, a tendency toward curiosity, and her marvelous sense of dress. I'd like to think I have attained my embodiment of a contemporary Mary Poppins, in my approach to working with and caring for children (and my sense of fashion).
My Experience
I'm naturally playful and communicative with children. I like to dance, sing, ask questions, make stories, teach, read, all kinds of activities I enjoy doing with children. I think that children like me too! My experience in childcare is varied, from making theatre with children on summer camps in Italy and Zanzibar, to taking care of a bunch of toddlers at a wedding, to birthday entertainments, evening babysitting, house help, baking cakes, and in more formal setting, teaching assisting in Primary Schools, and most recently as Forest Nursery Educator part-time.

My Availability
I have been working in a forest nursery for the last 4 months, and am looking for childcare work where I have more freedom to follow the flow of the kids & use my creative & emotional literacy skills with more freedom. I'm open to supporting a family ad hoc, or to a committed schedule which is currently quite flexible- other than tuesdays where I love doing my woodland play after school club at a local primary school.

- Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
I'm open to negotiation. Though I feel my skill level with developmental patterns in the body, linguistic encouragement, communication skill, emotional literacy, music, singing and general playful creative attitidue is of a high standard, hence my valuing myself at £20. ( this is a steal imo!)
