Small-group tuition available. Saturday mornings during term time. £30 for a 1.5 hour session, £50 for a 3-hour session. Located at St. Elizabeth's Primary School in Richmond. Tutors are all qualified, practising teachers.

Private, one-to-one tutor available in the Wimbledon/Southfields/Putney/Richmond area. Having taught in Canada, Australia and the UK, I have 20 years teaching experience - most of which has been at the KS2 level (years 5 and 6). I am very familiar and comfortable with SATs expectations and preparations. I hold additional qualifications in Special Education, and am currently a full-time Year 6 teacher at a primary school in Southwest London.
My aim is to diagnose areas of strength and development, in order to tailor a program that meets the individual needs of each child I work with. Consultations with parents, building a warm, supportive rapport with children, using a wide variety of resources, and understanding a variety of learning styles is what helps me to build an individual learning plan that can be both successful and enjoyable for each child.
I am happy to discuss with you your child’s individual learning needs and answer any other questions you may have.
My fee structure is as follows:
£50/hour for in-person, 1:1 tutoring
£40/hour for online 1:1 tuition

We really can't recommend Sandra more highly. Our daughter was really lacking in confidence in maths and Sandra empowered and educated her over a two year period. By the end our daughter would tackle problems that before she would have avoided and now regularly get top marks in her arithmetic tests. As Sandra is a primary school teacher she is up to date on all current teaching styles so her language and methods replicate what you child is being taught in their own class. Our daughter did brilliantly in her SATS and is so prepared for secondary school and this is all due to Sandra. She is brilliant.
