About Me
My name is Leanne, I am an Ofsted rated 'Outstanding', childminder based in Thetford, Norfolk. I am very passionate about my job role and enjoy encouraging and promoting children to learning and develop in my home from home setting. I provide a structured fun environment built round all the children in my care taking into consideration their needs, preferences and interests.
I live with daughter who is 13 years old and 2 loveable staffies who have grown up and are used to being around children and are very friendly.
I have a variety of toys and games, which I rotate regularly as well as setting up different, daily activities. I offer lots of craft activities as well as messy play opportunities for children to explore and develop.and regular visits to our local community.
I have a spacious home where I am able to offer children plenty of room to play and explore as well as a large secure garden the children have access to all year round. The garden is fully equipped, I have a swing set with a spider swing, swing and a slide for older children, little tikes slide and a car/ride along for younger children. I also have plenty of other outdoor equipment including a mud kitchen, sand tray, balance bike, scooters. goal net, and a box of sheets the children love to use to make dens and tents using their own imagination.
I like to regularly take the children on outings (with your written permission) these include;
-woodland walks
-Using local parks
-Visiting the library
-soft play
-Picnics at the river
-Baby and Toddler groups
I offer school pick up and drop off to Admirals academy, and Raleigh infant school, Thetford.

My Experience
As well as raising my own 4 children I have volunteered in my children's schools when they were younger and I worked in a pre school for 6 month while I was completing a childcare course. I then moved to Norfolk where I have been working in a SEN school for the last 18 months as a learning support assistant.

My Availability
I provide childcare from 7am to 6pm term time and a 'schools out' holiday club during the school holidays 7am to 6pm (I can be flexible with these times). I am registered on both the early years and childcare registers. I am able to do school collection and drop offs from admirals academy and Raleigh infant school. I also can offer overnight care for children I care for.

Such an amazing childminder all our children absolutely love being there . They have grown and learnt so much in the 3 years they have been in her care during the day and gained so much confidence she truly is 5 star without a doubt and couldn’t ask for better if that exists.

Leanne is an amazing childminder and has been looking after my little ones for about 3 years now. My children love Leanne and love being in her care. They have learnt so much and they love going out on their adventures learning and playing. Leanne goes over and beyond to help in anyway she possibly can and it is so appreciated. She provides healthy food for my little ones to eat and also sticks to any routine that you have at home. I am also updated on any situation via the excellent app that is used, Pictures are always added daily so that I can see how much fun they are having. I would highly recommend Leanne’s childcare. Truly amazing 5*

Leanne is fantastic, she goes above and beyond in providing my little boy with lots of fun learning opportunities. She makes sure he has everything he needs and more. Leanne shows how caring and compassionate she is in everything she does, regularly communicating to me what I can do with my little one to help him progress. She provides a routine so he knows what to expect every day, feeds him healthy snacks, teaches him about hygiene and good habits.
There’s not one bad thing to mention, I highly recommend Leanne’s care, she’s been a life-saver for us.
