About Me
I am a highly personable and kind natured individual seeking a full time nanny position in London. I am passionate about working with children and due to my academic pursuits, have become increasingly aware how important it is to foster positive relationships and boundaries from a young age. I pride myself in my ability to forge relationships quickly as I approach both children and adults with compassion and empathy. I also really see the value in being creative with young people as I feel this is often lost due to the extensive amount of technology we have. Having grown up on a farm in Devon, I think it's so important that young people get as much air as possible and are encouraged to play outside.
I am hugely loyal, adaptable, professional and always willing to go the extra mile in order to meet the needs of those I work for.
My Experience
I have over 15 years childcare experience in various capacities. I worked as a nanny/au-pair in my late teens/early twenties looking after children from as young as 3 months old. During my undergraduate degree I worked for a family who had two children under the age of 5 in London on a weekly basis which I thoroughly loved. My roles have all included taking children to and from school/activities, helping with homework, cooking, cleaning and general childcare/house duties.
I have also worked in a private school in West Sussex for a year providing pastoral care to girls within a boarding house.
