About Me

I am a registered childminder in Thornton village. I have 2 children, both girls aged 10 and 12.

I offer school drop offs and pick ups for Thornton primary school, and Thornton school nursery.

I offer childcare for before and after school, school holidays, full and part time care and funded for 2/3/4 year olds.

I provide healthy meals and snacks as standard from the age of 1 year old and I aim to meet any additional dietary needs as required.

I had my Ofsted inspection in August 2022, to which I achieved a GOOD grading.

I am up to date with all training necessary to be a childminder and regularly undergo additional training and seminars to deeper my knowledge and understanding of my job.

My Experience

I have been childminding since September 2019, I remained open throughout the covid lockdown to key worker and vulnerable families.

My Qualifications

Introduction to childminding course, paediatric first aid, full clean driving licence.
Level 2 food hygiene certificate.
Other qualifications include a BA(Hons), and a Diploma through Leeds Beckett university all relevant to my previous job as a bank manager.
Lead practitioner safeguarding.
Early Years Eypdp
Currently undergoing my level 3 Early Years Educator course.
