About Me
My name is Farah, I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder and inspected as Good. I have been working as a childminder since 2019 and love my job. I am a mother of 5 and have extensive experience with children. I am a warm, welcoming and caring person who is passionate about childcare and the outcomes for children at an early age for the best outcomes to achieve the developmental milestones.
My setting is a warm home from home environment for the children with outdoor space and I have access to the parks, lake and local forest nearby. I am located within a 5 minute walking distance of Highams Park Rail Station and the 275, 212 and W16 bus routes are on my doorstep.
I enjoy taking the children in my care to age appropriate playgroups, local parks and the library. I also enjoy music and arts & crafts and I encourage my children to participate in everything offered, which they do and enjoy.
I attend regular training for Childminders, online PACEY training, the excellent Childcare.co.uk webinars lead by Sarah Neville and various other webinar training to keep up with new changes in my field, keep up to date with my knowledge and towards my CPD.
I only pick up and drop off from Handsworth Primary/Nursery School. The before/after school children at my setting are supported with reading books and have access to a huge range of activities that are planned around their interests. All meals are freshly cooked for the children and are all healthy meals.
