About Me
My name is Maria and I am married with two grown children and a young grandchildren . I was born in England but my heritage is Italian. I am really family oriented and enjoy cooking and baking healthy meals. I get so much enjoyment nurturing and caring for my loved ones and this translate into all parts of my life . I love the outdoors and keeping myself busy , taking care of my well-being with mindfulness and exercise as well as eating healthily. I am nurturing , fun , caring and honest and patient!
My Experience
As well as my own experience having children I have been in childcare for 10 years plus. I have worked in settings such as Froeblien and Montessori and have adopted both avenues in my practice .
My approach is always to sustain a healthy and caring environment for the children in my care and to quietly observe the nature of the child and their needs. The ultimate aim is for children to meet their milestones in a way that is fun , proactive and progressive but at a pace that is encouraging but child led to them , ensuring always that the environment around them is safe and loving. I am a firm believer that good manners and setting boundaries will be invaluable as they grow into little individuals earning respect for them and those they encounter. Nature has so much to offer so exploring our natural surroundings and learn about the world around us combining with social skills and independence that will enrich them as they grow and interact within their community I believe that good manners are a part of that process too. Educational Funtime using crafts , role play and imagination help the children to learn through play. Working collaboratively with parents to reach a positive outcome for the children in my car.

Knowledge of past and current EYFS curriculum. Ofsted registered. Recognised Ofsted Full paediatric First aid. Sleep training. Toilet training . Managing children’s behaviours . SEND.

Maz looked after our daughter in summer of 2020, she literally was a godsend!
She quickly became part of the family, actually looking after all of us. Her kindness, warmth and positivity were contagious. She is a natural with little ones, she gets through to them on a very unique level, and provides a wonderful balance of care & early learning input.
Because we didn’t have the right working-from-home set up back then, it worked better for our little girl to spend time with Maz away from us, and even at Maz’s home. She was very clearly comfortable, happy and settled there, and had lots of great fun days out.
Maz is so much more to us than a nanny, we’ll be forever grateful.

Maz looked after my son from when he was one until nearly three. She struck an instant rapport with him and over their time together shared many chats about life! She really got to know what made my son tick and worked with his temperament to achieve so many things! She welcomed us every morning with open arms and a big smile. She also alerted us to a possible health condition that we were so glad we got checked out. Thank you Maz for your fun and generosity of spirit.

Overall
We have known Maz for the last year through twin group where she takes the girls she is currently looking after. Since then Maz has been babysitting our 4 children on numerous occasions. Any child (and parent) will warm to her immediately- she certainly knows how to win families over. Maz is an amazing cook too and the most caring person I have known. We trust her so much that she helped us to settle in our current nanny. Anyone who has the pleasure to work with Maz can consider themselves very lucky.

Maria has been with our family for almost a year now, and she’s been the biggest gift we have had come into our lives since our twins have turned 18 months. Since then our girls have thrived and became incredible little people with great manners, able to count, know all animals, days of the week, and more. The list really goes on.
Maria works very hard, is extremely reliable and she always goes the extra mile. She has not only looked after our girls but also looked after us as a family, helping wherever she could, be it with the occasional cleaning or cooking meals. She’s an amazing cook and cake baker.
There are really no words to describe the impact she has made in our lives. Our girls will be starting nursery in September 2023 and we’ll be so sad to let Maria go. However, we know that the family she ends up with with will be extremely lucky to have her. She’s one of a kind.
