About Me
I am an ofsted registered childminder and I have been minding for 24 years and have 3 grown up children of my own. I have looked after children of all ages full or part time.A copy of the Inspectors report is available during interviews.
I am very reliable and have only had 4 days off sick (3 with covid)
I provide a “Home from Home"
environment with a wide range of activities, both fun and learning.
I think it is important for children to be in a warm, friendly, fun, stimulating, stable, safe environment. I am confident I can provide those qualities for children of all ages.
All children, whether my own or children I child mind will be treated fairly and equally.
I have attended a pediatric first aid course and will do a refresher every 2/3 years. (Last attended 2023)
I am a member of Pacey and hold public liability insurance.
I provide good quality, clean, regularly checked toys and equipment for all ages.
I do not smoke and will not take any children into a smoky environment.
I do not have any pets.
I do not drive.
During a typical week we will do a variety of activities, indoors and outdoors, messy and loud, calm and creative. These will depend on the ages of the children in my care. We will also be visiting local toddler groups, libraries and local parks.

24 years childminding children from 4 months to 12 years,
mum of 3 grown up children.
Have also cared for twins, a child with cerebral palsy and speech difficulties.

Our daughter has been going to Katy's full time since February 2012. We could not rate her high enough!
Our daughter loves going everyday to see Katy and her friends and regularly wants to invite Katy's family to her parties!
She comes home most days with something handmade, such as T-Shirts, paintings, stained glass ornaments and biscuits.
Katy celebrates each of the children's birthdays with a little party and a cake just for them, which makes each of them feel very special. She regularly has fancy dress days which my daughter loves!
She has an outstanding ofsted for a reason and we would recommend her to anyone!
