About Me
Hi, I'm Lisa. I live in a quiet area of Newhall with my husband, 15 year old son and 10 year old daughter.
I am a working Mum and so, completely understand just how difficult it is to find someone who meets the high standards we expect for our precious little ones.
My aim is to provide a safe, happy, family based environment which nurtures and promotes each child's all-round development in a natural and holistic way- through following their individual needs and interests.
We have lots of fun doing many different activities, such as, painting, sensory play-swamps, dough, gloop, sand, playing with cornflakes/ pasta/ rice etc, cooking, gardening, dressing up/ roleplay, and lots of others which cover all areas within the Early Years Foundation Stage.
I have a range of toys for all ages, we love spending time in the garden and we enjoy outings to many local areas e.g. parks/outdoor spaces, national trust properties, soft play, toddler groups, library and story sessions, children's centre activities and music and dance sessions to name just a few!
Our house has been assessed by the local Fire Safety Team, I am a member of childcare.co.uk and a local childminder network, I hold public liability insurance and both my husband and I have received all CRB checks.
My Experience
I am an experienced practitioner, having worked with children for over 25 years (post qualification). 11 of these have been in a local setting in various senior positions (Supervisor, Senior Nursery Nurse and Assistant Manager).
I have also worked in a family setting as a Nanny and of course, have gained valuable experience since becoming a Mummy myself!
I have been an Ofsted Registered Childminder for 12 years.

My daughter has been with Lisa now for nearly a year.The way in which my daughter has progressed is amazing.Lisa truely has brought the best out in her and it's unbelievable how much she has learnt in the time she has spent with LIsa and the other children in her care.Lisa has an excellent childcare background as she has worked in nurseries to a high standard and that shows in her work.I 100% completey reccomend Lisa to anyone thinking of having her as there childs childminder.Well done Lisa keep up the good work. :))
