My name is Amy and I am 26 years old. I have been working with children for 7 years in various childcare settings but since a young age have shown a desire to work with children. I have qualification in Level 3 Childcare and Education and Level 2 Health and Social Care. I am also Paediatric First Aid trained and training in Safeguarding. I enjoy thinking of activities to help children develop and taking children out to different groups.
My Experience
I am currently working in a nature nursery based in Winchester in the under 2 room. My previous roles included working in child health on the paediatric wards at a hospital as a senior health care assistant working with newborn-17 year olds, at a nursery working with various age groups from 4 months to 4 years. I have two years experience with 2-3 year olds and 1 year with 4-5 year olds and have also helped out in the baby room with 4 months-1 year olds. Prior to working in a nursery I did college placements in all different settings, working with babies to year 2 aged children. In my final years of school, I volunteered at a local child minders in the evenings. I also have younger family members that I take on days out on the weekends.
My Qualifications
I have GCSE Maths at C grade. GCSE English at C grade. GCSE Science at C grade. Level 2 in Health and Social Care. Level 3 CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education. I am also Paediatric First Aid and have training in Safeguarding. I am also trained in level 1 and level 2 Makaton.

I have a notice period from my current job of 8 weeks.
