About Me
I live in a four-bedroom house with its own enclosed private garden; the lower ground floor has a good-sized well-equipped playroom which leads onto this.
My house is wheelchair accessible from the front to the back garden.
Downstairs toilet, baby changing unit, and wet room.
At the front of the house, there is a large park for ball games running climbing, scooters, and bikes.
There is normally parking outside the house for the quick drop of or pick up (B zone).
School pick-ups from Gateway Academy.
We are close to the Marylebone / Edgware Road tube stations. Bus routes; 139, 189, 332, 414, 6, 16, 98, there is also access from the regent street canal footpath.
My Experience
I’m a mother of five; I have a family-run small Nursery setup.
I started childminding in 1987 Qualified with an NNEB Diploma in Nursery Nursing 4.11.94. I have been First Aid trained since 1987 training refreshed every 3 years. I work with my daughter who is also a registered childminder (Shannelle Henry) she has a Foundation Degree in the early years. We have looked after children from all around the world and families of diverse cultures, backgrounds, often with English as a second language.
Some of my families I have worked with for many years, many of these families have been a long way from home with little or no family support. I am happy to cover short and long-term childcare placements as well as term time only.
I have the first-hand experience of looking after children with ADHD, Autism, Asthma, epilepsy, complex food allergies, tube feeding, child small in stature, hearing, and visual impairments.
I work using the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework to encourage, develop, and support the children’s holistic needs.
A working day is 8.30 am - 5.30 pm with a little flexibility on either side.
My Qualifications
I have a Diploma in Nursery Nursing and I attend regular training in childcare-related courses such as First Aid, Safeguarding, Food Hygiene, etc

Anne has been looking after my son since he was 9 months old (he’s now 4). She provided the highest standard of childcare and has been an invaluable support to our family throughout all phases and challenges of his early years: learning to walk, potty training, dummy weaning, speech, nutrition, dealing with tantrums. Anne and her daughter Courtney are very experienced, professional and they always have my son’s needs and safety as a priority, while also giving me plenty of support and advice. I can only highly recommend her!

Anne looked after my daughter from 2016 to 2018. She was happy and very comfortable there, which meant I felt at ease with leaving her when I went back to work. She was very engaging with her and kept me up to date with her development and the things that she was learnt while she was there. I would definitely recommend Anne to anybody who is looking for a childminder.

Anne has been looking after my 8months old son and I don't regret choosing them. She is extremely flexible and very professional. She has a large house with a beautiful playroom for children and a garden with swing, slide ... My son loves going there, I highly recommend her :) !

I have been using Anne's service since September 2019. I must say that I find her child minding service to be excellent and whilst I am at work I know that my child is being looked after to the highest standard. He is happy and safe and always engaged whilst he is in Anne's care. Whenever I come to pick him up after school it is clear to see that all the children are playing and engaged and are having fun. I would definitely recommend Anne to other parents, because as a parent I am entrusting her with the most precious thing in my life: my child, and he is happy and safe and content and that is all a parent could ask for.
