About Me
Hi! I am Lucia, 27 years old, spanish living in London. Currently I am a nanny for a wonderful family in Hampstead, but after more than two years with them, they will not need me full time next school year and unfortunately I would like to continue full time. I decide to have a break from the city and be in my town from Sevilla for a few months and back in January full of energy! My idea its to start in January, maybe around the second week.
I am a very active person. I love going out to explore new playgrounds, parks, creating new games in every place we find ourselves, visiting museums, doing crafts, cooking, playing board games, reading books.
If I have to describe myself, I think I am a very active person, always with new goals and objectives, organized and fun! I consider that creativity in all people is something very important, because it makes us discover what we are good at and what we are really good at, so I always try to explore different contexts with children, and discover their passions.
Life took me to London without thinking, and now I think I'll be here for a few more years.
My Experience
I started working with children approximately ten years ago, in different contexts. Over time, I have discovered that I love being around children, knowing how they learn, how they explore everything for the first time, how they act and above all, understanding that each one of them is different and special.
I believe that this job makes me feel fulfilled and happy, and I suppose that the main objective in life is to be happy, because I will try to continue on this path for as long as possible.
I did my degree in Spain, Social education, but also i have some courses about montessori education and autism.
My Qualifications
I studied social education in my country. I have worked in units for minors at risk and in schools in disadvantaged areas. I have also been a children's entertainer at events and parties and children's tutor after school. I was aupair in Ireland, and also babysitter for different families around. Since I moved to London I started with a family my nanny experience, but also working with Bubble app for other families in my free time.
