Below is my experience and cover letter.
My name is Mira. I am an enthusiastic nanny with over 18 years experience in childcare and I enjoy it as much today as I did 18 years ago! Currently I am working as a nanny Tuesday to Friday, I am looking to also nanny on Monday or weekend babysitting.
From mid April/May 2024 my journey with my current family is going to end so I’m looking for full time nannying for at least 40 hours per week but I’m open to anything around these hours.
I first started my childcare journey when I started childminding and since then I realised it was what I wanted to pursue. Kids have a way of keeping us happy and youthful the way no other job manages to achieve. After childminding I then gained my Level 3 Early Learning and childcare qualification and moved into a nursery as a nursery nurse to formalise my desire to continue working with children. It was here I spent around 10 years and became assistant room leader where I had organising, observational and planning responsibilities. I transferred to nannying, having missed the one to one bond.
I follow the children’s development using the EYFS framework and cook healthy homemade meals to aid in this development. I also focus on the educational and recreational side of child development through games, art, activities and regular days out. I believe each child is wonderful and unique and therefore needs their own tailored approach.

Assistant room leader-Northcote house nursery. In a position of supervision and managing other nurses due to my years of experience.
•Nanny- with nanny share where I worked with two children from two separate families. This required discretion and diligence.
