About Me
The Pink House Childminder Swanage
I am a mum of 3 beautiful daughters ages 10, 8 and 5. I have always enjoyed working with children while learning and exploring through play. I love art, craft and all things messy.
Over the last 13 years I have progressed from childcare apprentice in a Montessori nursery baby-toddler room to Level 3 practitioner and then deputy manager of a nature nursery. Sadly, I was made redundant while on maternity leave from the nature nursery, so I worked in a restaurant for 6 months before COVID-19 caused everything to close. I was then offered a job in a lovely local preschool, where I worked during 2020 looking after key worker children and I still work there.
Now, I have become a childminder to create a home from home environment in my welcoming family home.
I have a current DBS and I am on the update service. I am first aid trained as well as many more training courses that I have been on to develop my personal practice. Certificates can be seen during visits.
My husband is a newly qualified maths teacher at a local school. He has a current DBS and is also on the update service.
I am currently full but please do enquire for future sessions.

My Experience
I have worked in childcare for around 13 years with maternity leave for three of my own daughters included in this time.
Experience with newborns, toddlers and older.
My Qualifications
NVQ level 2 in Children's, learning and development.
NVQ level 3 in children's work force. (Meaning I am qualified to work with children from 0-18 years).
First aid trained

My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
Usually £15 per hour as a nanny/babysitter. Evening fees can be applied and fees can be set if regularly needed.
