About Me
Hello, I'm a 23 year old, currently working as a Low-Intensity CBT therapist within the NHS, whilst I also study a postgraduate degree in treatments of common mental health disorders. Although I absolutely love my job it unfortunately doesn’t pay tonnes, and so I’m needing a little money on the side! I love kids and have worked with them in the past, and so decided babysitting would be a nice way to do it! Therefore, I look forward to hearing from you and meeting your little ones!!
My Experience
When I was in sixth form and at uni, I often babysat for neighbours and parents who wanted to go out for the night, just for a little bit of cash to help fund my studies. I was also a diving coach as my first part time job, and I did for so for years, where I had to look after and keep kids safe whilst ensuring they were enjoying themselves and of course learning how to dive at the same time! I also previously worked on a mental health ward looking after vulnerable adults with severe mental health difficulties and neurodivergence, for example, autism and ADHD, and so am comfortable looking after children with any additional needs.
My Qualifications
I have 10 GCSE’s all of which at an A grade, and all 3 a-levels. I have completed my Psychology BSc (Hons), and am currently studying at postgraduate level. I also have qualifications in child and adult safeguarding, and am first aid and ILS/BLS trained. I have also been fully DBS checked for my job, as I work with vulnerable adults.
My Availability
I work Mon- Friday 8-4, working late on Wednesdays, so am available in the evenings, and weekends.
