My Summary
About Me
A fully qualified nursery nurse (NNEB) with over 20 year’s experience looking after and caring for children 0-8 years.
I am enthusiastic, organised and highly motivated, in all areas of childcare, with impeccable references both as a full time nanny and as an assistant manager for an under 5s stay and play group. I am able to work under pressure, individually or as part of a team. I possess excellent communication and observational skills and fully understand the importance of punctuality and reliability for all employers and their children.
I have a wide knowledge of children’s development, thus meaning I am able to support every child in meeting their age appropriate developmental milestones, whilst providing them with a relationship that makes them feel loved, secure, happy, and safe, with my main focus being that their time with me is full of fun and laughter.
Caring for, nurturing, protecting and allowing all children in my care to grow and reach their full potential is my priority.
In my childcare and nanny roles, no day is ever the same and this is why I love it so much, everyday is a new adventure. I have been lucky enough to have sole responsibility of new born babies up to school age children and worked with some wonderful parents, assisting and managing all duties of care, from breakfast time to bath time, including babysitting on occasion.
I have relished spending time with the children in my care, while either singing, dancing, going to the park, building forts and tents in the garden, tall towers to be knocked down, creating masterpieces of art work to display or simply reading stories about adventures, fairies or wonky donkey’s.
