My Experience

I began babysitting here in Kent over 10 years ago from there I worked as a weekend nanny before nannying for 3 different families whilst studying for my BA in English Literature and History. After I completed my degree I secured a nanny position in Moscow caring for three 14-month-old toddlers. After spending nearly a year in Russia I nannied in Austria caring for one 2-year-old and a newborn baby. I then took care of three children aged 9, 4 and 1 years old respectively in Berlin before returning to Austria to care for a 3 year old and a 1 year old. After this I nannied in North London for over a year caring for an 11-month-old baby boy. I changed career to work as a Nanny Recruitment consultant in London for 2 years then nannied for a lovely fsmily
I met through this website for 1 year and 3 months part time here in Kent. I was lucky enough to bring my son to this position with me. He enjoyed growing up with another boy his age (1 year old at the beginning) and two little girls aged 3 and 5 years old when the position began.

As a nanny I enjoy devising new activities for my charges, I am a big believer in the inportance of a well rounded childhood including arts and crafts, hobbies and imaginative play. I am a follower of the Steiner approach to early years education and enjoy getting children outside, exploring as much as possible from a young age, I particularly enjoy attending forest school classes with my liftle ones. I have worked as a nanny/governess in two of my previous positions and am used to assisting with homework completion alongside tutoring children in English through sit down lessons and through play. Most importantly I bring a positive, smiley demeanour, fun and love to my nanny positions. I am still in regular contact with nearly all of my previous nanny families and several of my nanny children attended my wedding in 2018. My Qualifications

I have a BA in English Literature and History along with a TEFL teaching qualification. I am a follower of both Steiner and Montessori Early years Education philosophies, I emulated the Montessori style as much as possible in my previous nanny positions in Europe, and plan to enrol on a Montessori Early Years Educator course in the future.

I am currently available anytime whilst I look for my next lovely family.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
• Nannying from £10.00 per hour (net)

I usually charge £12 nph as a full time nanny. For a nanny share position or if able to bring my daughter I would consider £10 nph.
