My Experience

I have worked within childcare for 12 years and for the last 5 years have been managing different sites, I also have experience of working within the local authority. Making and building relationships with children who are looked after or who are going to be adopted.

Crucially Laura has an unwavering commitment to securing the well-being of her staff and this includes everything from providing a spontaneous cooked breakfast, ensuring the staff areas are replenished with tasty treats and refreshments, to recognise and rewarding the staff’s hard work through the use of vouchers and personalised gifts.
Most importantly of all, is Laura’s passion for the experience the children receive. Always at the top of her list of priorities is the safeguarding and welfare of the children, and her pursuit of educational excellence. Laura uses a range of self-evaluation and audit tools to analyse both qualitative and quantitative data to identify areas of exemplary practical and also identify any areas where quality may need development. progress is less than expected, it is this incisive evaluation of the practice leads that leads to highly effective teaching and learning for all. As such, she leads a nursery which has practice worthy of dissemination to others, and is often used by other nurseries in the community as a place to visit for inspiration
