About Me
I believe in taking a holistic approach to childcare. I believe that children should be nurtured and given the appropriate support not only for their educational development but also for their cognitive, personal, social and emotional development.
I love working with children and providing them with opportunities to grow and learn through fun and engaging experiences.
I have over 14 years of experience in childcare and I specialise in SEND. I can also communicate at a beginner level in makaton and BSL (looking to do level 3 training).
Over lockdown I completed the NTP training and have been tutoring both in schools and privately.
I have an undergraduate degree in Childhood Development (2:1), a PGCE and a Masters degree in Psychology of Education with merit.
In November 2024 I will be starting my Doctorate in Education.
I work mainly with primary school children but I also work with children in secondary school who are SEN or are working within the primary curriculums.
My Experience
I have previously worked as a nanny, childminder, babysitter, nursery nurse, teaching assistant, teacher, SEN 1:1 support and tutor.
My Qualifications
NVQ children and young people's workforce.
BA(Hons) Childhood development.
PGCE 5-11.
MSc with Merit in Psychology of Education.
Doctorate in Education starting in November 2024
My Availability
I have either international or homeschooling availability for Wednesday morning 9:30am - 10:30am, 11am - 12pm.
Tuesday face to face morning 9:30am - 10:30am, 11am - 12pm and 2pm - 3pm.
