About Me
My name is Emilia and I am a single mum to 9yo girl. I do know how hard it is to be a working parent and to have a full-time job, and how stressful it is to search for an after-school and holiday childcare when wraparound at school is full!
I was this parent!!!
I have decided to become a childminder, to offer families a wraparound/ after-school childcare! I am very passionate about my work and committed to helping children to develop their full potential, to gain independence and boost their self-esteem and confidence as well as expand their creativity and imagination!
I aim to offer a safe home-from-home environment, relaxed yet active time after school when children can wind down after a busy day. Variety of resources and activities are child-centered and adjusted to children's age.
My setting is small to ensure a close, positive and quality relationship with and between children, I welcome each child to my home as one of the family!
My Experience
I have 20 years of experience in childcare, working with all age groups, from newborns to 11+, in various settings.
Currently I work as a Learning Support Assistant in Year 1 class.
My Qualifications
NVQ level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce, Early Learning and Childcare Pathway
ICP
valid Paediatric First Aid
