My Summary
Nothing Is More Important Than A Child's Happiness ~ Bambini Montessori
About Me
Welcome to Bambini Montessori Childcare!
Bambini Montessori is a new establishment, registered with Ofsted and private childcare facility in a beautiful home with an adventurous outdoor play area, offering care to babies as young as three months, onwards up to toddlers, pre- school children and older children.
The main aim is to ensure that our facility is secure, offering a comprehensive range of learning skills in a healthy, caring and loving environment with the involvement and support of parents.
The parents/carers of children will be greeted with a warm welcome with announcing their child’s name each morning or afternoon, as well as being registered in our register for attendance. Each child or baby is allocated with a key person, myself and an assistant (when appointed) whom will be responsible for monitoring the baby/child’s development in all areas. All learning journals are carried out by the allocated key person (on appointing an assistant) to show a child’s progression and will be shared and updated to parents.
The Buttercup Area
Babies’ area
The Buttercup area is set out for babies, making sure that they are looked after in a homely and warm environment, ensuring that they are safe and are stimulated with all their needs met. We endeavour to keep parents/careers informed about their baby’s monitoring and the time spent at Bambini Montessori during the day. You will be provided an online communicational platform between the key person and yourself, containing information about your child’s wellbeing with us.
We ask all parents/ carers to supply their own nappies and made-up bottles of formula milk. Babies who are on solids will be able to enjoy our delicious fresh and healthy food made every day. Allergies and dietary needs will be catered for. We encourage and invite parents to discuss and adhere to their child’s individual needs.
The Tulip Area
Level one- Toddler's area
At Bambini Montessori Childcare we strongly believe that physical movement and play is essential for children in their early years. Through play, young babies and children are naturally learning growing beautifully in a fun and homely environment.
It is through natural play that young babies and children learn, grow and have fun. It helps them recognise the world and to develop socially and emotionally. Along with natural play, the Montessori Method plays a vital part of their time with us. They will understand and mould themselves independently being able to increase their mobility and concentration on everyday life skills as well participating in activities such as reading, writing, maths, creative arts, about the world and science.
The Daffodil Area
Level two- pre-school and older children area
Children like to follow a routine and in which we have a timetable for two weeks set out each day, alternating each week. As the Early years Foundation Stage and the Montessori Method both encourage free play, children will have free play, tidy-up time, circle time, snack time, physical activity session and outdoor free play. Our physical activity session includes: yoga, dance, drama and light exercising.
We passionately believe that children will absorb through play in a well-planned and structured environment with this stream of free flow. Purposeful activates and appropriate intervention by the childcare provider, will engage children in the learning process with using the Montessori Method and adhering to the Early Years Foundation Stage.
We will also visit the local park and library, additionally going on outings such as to the farm, soft play and museums. Bambini Montessori will also be looking to organise outings and events that coincide with the group planning, enhancing their learning and development.

I am an inviting, caring and nurturing individual, whom seeks the opportunity to support babies and young children in reaching to their fullest potential. I also teach dance and yoga supporting children and adults physical development, self-esteem and confidence. I also love to sing and travel to different parts of the world.
Although, a mummy to two beautiful children - please kindly see below the experience I hold within childcare professionally.
Direct experience of working with children
I was previously an owner to a Montessori Day care Nursery and have previously managed the setting, having the opportunity to work in a range of ages from babies to pre-school. I have been a key person for 13 children for the pre-school making observations and linking them to the EYFS for their formative assessment. I have tracked cohort group assessments, monitoring all children’s ages and stages supporting their development and welfare in filling any gaps and working towards their Early Goals. With being SENco, giving support identified, such as S&L or a paediatrician referral and have put these in place with robust policies and procedures in achieving positives outcomes.
I have set up and maintained stimulating care and educational (Montessori) environments for babies (8 weeks to 24mths and an environment for toddlers), Early Years pre-school environment for (pre-school 3-5). I have directly led practice and taught in the younger three age groups, including all aspects of curriculum development, resourcing, planning and assessment. Using all children’s next steps, interests, their ages and stage and adult led activities along with parent’s contribution, and the areas of the EYFS, devising a weekly plan on an individual and group basis, for all practitioners to familiarise and effectively catering to their needs. I also completed an online self-evaluation form for Ofsted along with the welfare audit to improve the setting.
During my degree, I completed a dissertation using my knowledge of the Montessori method wanting to specialise my childcare facility using the Montessori method. my methodology reflects the Montessori approach. I encourage active learning through exploration and discovery and places an emphasis on all round holistic development. The high levels of concentration, motivation and independence seen in the children of the classes I have led.
Child Protection
I was the Child Protection Officer for the Montessori Day care Nursery previously owned. As such I received significant training in all aspects of Child Protection and Safeguarding. This included Senior Multi-Agency Working, safe recruiting, signs and behaviours that could indicate abuse, handling disclosures and writing a comprehensive Safeguarding Policy for the setting. The Montessori setting was approved to offer free places to two-year-olds in October 2015, which included working with families that had ‘children in need’.
Special Educational Needs
I was the SENCo for the previous Montessori Day care Nursery. Additionally, as the manager, key-worker and room leader, I attended joint meetings between outside agencies, key-worker and parent. I have written and implemented IEPs, and also mentored staff in writing these. I have also supported parents in filling out EHC forms applying for further support needed for their child. I have direct experience of working with children presenting SEN such as; Autistic Spectrum Disorders (including Asperger's and Semantic Pragmatic Disorder), dyslexia, Cerebral Palsy, ADHD, selective mutism and hearing loss. I have given regular remedial help to children who need to improve literacy skills.
Human Resources
Previously, part of my role in the Montessori setting, was to manage a variety of different aspects relating to staff. This included: interviewing, recruitment and induction; appraisals, supervision, grievances, discipline and dismissal; arranging staff rotas, holiday, maternity and sickness cover; chairing staff meetings and ensuring that information was cascaded to all staff. I operated an ‘open door’ policy to ensure issues were dealt with promptly, and staff regularly used this facility.
Training and Parent Partnership
During my experience in running the previous Montessori day care nursery business, I have acquainted myself with the Montessori method, the Early Years Foundation Stage, and parenting techniques when working in partnership with patents. I have run in-house training sessions for my staff to underpin their knowledge and practice of working in the Early Years, and to cascade new policies and new legislation. I have led Health and Safety awareness training including completing risk assessments, safeguarding responsibilities, and the Food Standards Agency course ‘Safer Food, Better Business’. I have been involved in parent education through ‘Stay and Play’ sessions for under fives. These focused on a different developmental area each month and provided an opportunity to model good practice to parents, speak with them on a one-to-one basis and provide information leaflets to take home.
Pick up and drop off will not be available currently.

We’ve been so impressed with Bambini Montessori since our daughter started in September. The Montessori-inspired environment is calm, nurturing, and engaging, and it’s been wonderful to see her growing in confidence and independence in just a few months.
Priya is attentive, caring, and keeps us well-informed with regular updates about our daughter’s activities and progress. We’re thrilled with how much she’s enjoying her time there and would highly recommend Bambini Montessori to any parent.

My son who is 11 months old has only been with Bambini Montessori for a few weeks now. I must say he has settled in so so well! I think this is down to Priya creating a lovely warm & welcoming environment for the children. I love all the learning activities and the whole
Montessori ethos.
Priya takes the time to observe & get to know your child's personality and provides excellent care around your child's individual needs. Priya updates you regularly sharing your child's progress through out the day and communication is fantastic!
So happy we chose Bambini Montessori!
by Fola about Bambini Montessori on 10/07/2024
My son has recently started at Bambini with the lovely Priya and her team.
Before sending him, I did my own research through this profile of hers. Which as you can see is very informative! She is extremely knowledgeable and her passion for her work is shown the moment you meet her.
The Bambini setting is so clean, with so much to do! My son’s favourite thing to do is play outside, she has a lovely outdoor garden with lots of engaging activities for children.
It can be hard on both the child and parent when leaving a child, however, Priya kept me informed at all times. What he’s eaten, nappy changes and lovely pictures throughout the day of the activities he was doing.
I am extremely excited to see how much more my son will learn from Priya and her team.
by Saima about Bambini Montessori on 24/05/2024
As a parent, choosing the right childcare for my children is a huge challenge. My experience with Bambini Montessori childcare has been overwhelmingly positive. From the moment we stepped into the Bambini room we were struck by the calm, purposeful atmosphere. My children are deeply engaged in activities, independently exploring, and interacting with each other in a respectful and collaborative way.
Priya's montessori approach is something she actually practises not like just some theory. My children have been emphasized hands-on learning through carefully designed materials, allowing them to learn at their own pace and discover their individual strengths.
Priya is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, providing individualized attention and support while fostering a love of learning.
She is pointing out what my children are good at and what will be the next learning step for them. My doughter is a little challeng for her( and for me) like the initial adjustment period where Priya have come to an extra mile, to ease that to everybody.
I am confident that my children are receiving a high-quality time in Priyas childcare. I wish every parents has this nurturing and enriching environment for their child(children)
Higly recommend Priya's Bambini Montessori childcare.
by Eelika about Bambini Montessori on 22/05/2024
I cannot recommend enough! Priya looks after my two children 10m and 22m. She is the upmost professional, caring and helpful. She’s is always ready and waiting for the children with everything set for them.
We had a visit before choosing Bambini Montessori and my daughter didn’t want to leave.
Priya provides a calm, learning experience for the children and I had noticed positive changes in both children from within the first few days of going to stay.
A Montessori style setting was important to me and this facility is the perfect example of how Montessori should be encouraged. The children are allowed to perform tasks independently in a calm and structured environment.
I was upset leaving them on my first day back at work but within an hour I’d received a video of my youngest happily exploring sensory toys and my oldest setting her table, washing and preparing her own fruit.
I receive updates daily with what they have eaten and achieved and my oldest loves telling me about her day and showing me her new moves from dance class.
I drop my babies off with confidence knowing my children are treated not only kindly but also with compassion and respect!
Im so grateful for the opportunity given to my children and the reassurance and support provided to me.
