TEMP NANNY – Putney Nov 2022 – Present: I have worked for this family before and have continued to work for them every now and then for babysitting purposes and extra nannying on a Friday. I was able to bring my daughter along with me to work and it worked out really well. I took them to various after school activities such as athletics, Friday night fives (football), swimming etc. I also had to make sure their bags were ready for the next day and their homework was complete. They are 8 years old and 11 years old. My daughter just molded into their busy schedule. In there down time we play board games, read stories together or watch movies.

NANNYING – Bramley - June 2020 – August 2022:
I worked for this family 4 days a week, sole charge for a 3-year-old girl. I helped with her physical and emotional development. I helped her to expand her vocabulary, focus on a task l onger and continued to expand her knowledge of the world around her as well as providing a safe, happy, and loving space when her mum travelled and worked in the day. I took her on trips and activities on the holidays and kept her friendships going with playdates as well. On our nature walks when walking the family dog, I taught her what different birds there were and explored the bushes and lakes. She loved getting muddy, so I took her out in all weathers but making sure she was warm enough. I also stayed over one day a week to let her mum have a break, this evolved me sorting her breakfast in the morning as well as my other jobs in the week of keeping the house clean, doing the food shop, walking the dog, and getting her ready for school. Our school routine involved encouraging her to dress herself and getting all the things she needs together for her days. I also made sure she did her homework after school every day encouraging her when she was struggling and letting her know that we all need to practice getting better. I made sure she did little and often. I also made sure her clothing and uniform was washed, dried, and hung away. I packed her bags for her holidays to grandparents’ houses and trips away. I booked the hairdressers. I took her to hospital and dentist appointments when her mum couldn’t. I went to get her uniform and sewed name tags on all her clothes. I stayed on top of the house and the little girl’s needs. When I had my daughter, I continued to do all of this with the little girl. I had to be organised and focused, so I kept a diary of our days and wrote lists of all the things regarding school things and planning activities for the holidays in advance. I took her to swimming lessons which involved me going in with her to gain her confidence. It needed a lot of patience and persistence, but she has finally mastered swimming on her own.

NANNYING – Putney based Nanny – May 2015 – May 2020
• Sole charge of an 11-month-old and 3-year-old four days a week when first started this post.
• Developmental support initially for 11-month-old - I helped him to crawl, walk and talk.
• Creative activities suitable for both children to do together as well as individually
• Adaptation of activities suited to children’s developmental and their individual preference and strengths
• Adjustment of support/activity as boys developed- incorporating educational needs/homework from school into everyday activities
• Meal preparation for children
• Cleaning children’s rooms including bed making/ clothes washing.

• Mother’s help while they were on holiday.
• Helped entertain the 3-Year-old on the plane – Story books, Colouring and fun games to keep him happy.
• To keep them entertained in the villa when the parents went out for the day – Making up treasure hunts, finding wildlife, encouraging them to use their imaginations and playing in the pool.
• I was there as support for the parents.
NANNYING – Tooting Bec Based Nanny – February 2012 – April 2015
• Mother’s help – 4 Afternoons per week for a 1 Year old and occasionally the 6-year-old.
• I sorted out activities and opportunities for him to develop his learning and development, communication and emotional, physical learning.
• I worked a long side his mother as support for her while she looked after her other child.
• I would cook for the boys, sometimes help the eldest with homework, and I would read stories and put the littlest one to bed.
• As he grew up, I would take him to nursery and various activities too, such as swimming and little kickers.
• I would also take him to different clubs to meet new nannies and therefore form friendships for the child.
TINIES CHILDCARE – December 2011 – Aug 2014
PLAY LEADER – HOLIDAY CLUB –
• Dealing with complaints.
• Talking to parents about the daily activities, sports and Trips happening in the day.
• Informing my team and parents about new information about the holiday club.
• Getting the parents to sign important documents such as, emergency contact details, consent forms and signing in and out.
• I had to answer phones and make phone calls – Letting people know where we are, what time we are getting back from outings and informing them if child has hurt themselves.
• I was there to provide an entertaining environment for the children to enjoy and return too.
• I organised a team and the day.
• Communication was an important thing in this job role, as I was leading a team.
• I lead games, activities, staff and children on a 10-hour day.
• At the end of the day I made sure the closing paperwork was done and complete and that everyone left with a smile.
• I also had to organise the next day’s important information, so I knew it was up to date.
CRECHE ASSISTANT – TINIES CRECHES
• Ensuring all children were happy, clean, fed, entertained and to go home wanting to return to the creche.
• I made bookings over the phones and in the creche.
• I sold vouchers and I had to document how much the creche had made that day. I also had to document how many hours we achieved too.
• I had to communicate to new members about what our creche had to offer, activities, snacks, stories, and singing.
• I had to maintain an organised creche when the manger was away.

My Availability

Monday-Friday Happy to work until 7pm, with occasional baby sitting. My Current role I work Mon-Thurs 7:45am-7pm.

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (net)
