About Me
I have always felt a calling to a supportive, nurturing role and throughout my life have been drawn to working with children and their parents. Being able to support families right from their beginning, and supporting and empowering women as they step into their new role as a mother is the greatest honour.
My Experience
After having my first baby I trained as a Breastfeeding Peer Supporter and following the birth of my second child my passion for supporting growing families grew deeper and I embarked on Doula and Hypnobirthing training. Prior to birth-work I was a qualified primary teacher with experience working as a nursery teacher, nanny and tutor.

I am available for 1-to-1 hypnobirthing classes, antenatal, birth, and postnatal Doula support. I am available at the below times most weeks, but do have additional availability on request.

- Doulas from £20.00 per hour
Taking into consideration my qualifications, I have tried to set my fees as fairly as possible. I am open to some negotiation around fees were the right family to arise.

Emma did a great job, I would re-employ her and recommend her to others in a similar situation to ourselves.
Emma worked with our 4/5 year old and 2/3 year old during June 2020 at the end of lock down. Our objective was to help the 4/5 year old get ready for school and to replace some of the experience of going to nursery, which was not open following lock down.
Emma was mature, kind, firm and experienced and brought great imagination to the literacy and numeracy games she introduced. We felt very comfortable leaving the children with her who got on with her very well.
On a practical level, Emma was always on time and willing to work more hours to help us out where needed. She organised and fed the children lunch. We were sad we could only have her with us for one month because she was moving to the West Country. We wish her good luck !
