About Me
Hello, I am a friendly, approachable self confident fun loving, caring mature lady who is happily married in our own home with our four children, two of whom have additional hidden disabilities.
I have lived in newark all my life with my immediate family in the surrounding area.
We spend time with my dad and his partner and my in laws regularly.
Sadly my mum passed away 14 years ago due to cancer.
Two of my children attend full time school and two work full time.
I enjoy the simple things in life like going for walks, going for a picnic, visiting places like Rufford or Belton and enjoying an ice cream.
As a Nanny I will care for your child/children in your family home.
I am to provide you with excellent care of your little ones with all Nursery duties provided.
I will provide your children with stimulating activities at home and take your children to their activities like visiting the Library,taking part of parent and toddler groups,swimming lessons,visiting Parks or simply going out for a walk to enjoy the surroundings and we will eventually manage a little routine around our days.
I will happily do Light household duties but only when the child/children are snoozing.
This will hopefully allow you to work with the peace of mind that your little ones are happy and safe and well cared for whilst enjoying their time with me.
I will keep a communication book in which I would jot down the things we have been doing in our day and any medication,times taken etc they may have required(if any).
I have a cv which I am happy to send across via email if a genuine interest is there after the first point of meeting.
This will have all of my references on it with their contact details,however I will not share this until we have met,talked about what is required and made sure that we all like each other.
This is because they are private families and I respect and understand confidentiality.
I am registered with a local Nanny agency and have obtained the majority of my Nanny jobs via this agency in previous years.
My current Nanny job, however I found on this site.
I am a non smoker, hold a full clean driving licence and own my own car.
My Experience
I have worked as a Nanny for over 19 but had over 26 years experience years of working with children.
I have worked on a sole charge basis,shared care and mother's help for many years since leaving college.
I have worked for families in this time on a long term basis who I am still in contact with and we all have positive relationships.
In this time I have worked in Nanny positions on a full time,part time and temporary basis.
I have worked in the evenings when the children are in bed allowing the parents/carers to have some time to themselves and I have slept over on some occasions allowing parents/carers to have a night away whether due to work or pleasure.
I have worked in family settings where there are dogs,cats and horses and I am completely comfortable around them.
The children I have cared for within these families varies from newborn to secondary school age children.
I have worked in a childrens Therapeutic and Education setting in the local area as the housekeeper.
Most recently since my youngest children have started full time school I have been volunteering at the local school within the classroom as support staff but I'm now ready to increase my nannying hours.
I have a vast knowledge and understanding of child Emotional,social,.Intellectual and physical development and a child's individual unique needs.
My Qualifications
I am NNEB qualified(my certificate can be seen).
I can be Ofsted registered if required and
I am paedeatric first trained.
I will become ofsted registered at a shared cost from my employer, if this is a requirement that you need.
I have been ofsted registered in the past but as we decided that I would be a stay at home parent, this wasn't something I needed at that time.
My Availability
I am looking for a long permanent Employed Nanny position.
I am very flexible and can easily adapt to families requirements.
Ideally I would prefer not to work regular weekends as this is our family time although I would be able to do the occasional weekend evening babysitting if required.

My Fees
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
My fees are between £15.00/16.00 per hour depending on how many children are to be cared for and what is required from me, as all families require different needs.
Unless a Nanny car is provided for use within work hours then travel expenses and other expenses are to be paid whist working.
Travel to and from work is at my own cost.
Please understand that I am not a Babysitter but a qualified mature Nanny and my fees reflect my experience,knowledge in all areas of children's development and my self confidence within my own abilities.
