We are a family in Leytonstone with two children, E11 looking for a part time (2 or 3 days) OR 4 day a week nanny starting in January or February 2024 (we can be flexible on start date) to work 2, 3 or 4 consecutive days a week Monday-Tuesday/Wed/Thursday roughly 8.15-6.15.

Ideally we are looking for alternate Fridays in addition (shorter hours on the alternate Fridays 11-5pm), or a set number of Fridays throughout the year, to be discussed.

We are flexible for the right candidate so please get in touch if this is you - more details below.

We have two children: our son will be 4 February and our daughter turns 2 in January.
Both are currently in nursery. Our son goes to the nearby school pre-school 830-330 each day. We will either take our daughter out of nursery completely or reduce her days when the role starts.

The job would be sole charge of our daughter until 330pm each day in term time and then caring for both children from 330- 6/6.15pm until we finish work, or both all day during the school holidays if you/we are not on annual leave.

Duties to be discussed more fully with you but would include playtime, personal care, pick up of our son, preparation and feeding of lunch and snacks, making them dinner, taking children to activities.

We are particularly interested to hear from you if you have directly comparable experience but the most important thing is that we are a good fit for one another.

We previously had a full time nanny for our son (a nanny share) and really valued the relationship he formed with her - we know the importance and value of great caregivers and the situation needing to work for everyone involved and to involve enough professional development and stimulation for you. We are happy to put you in touch with our previous nanny if you want to check us out as employers, and to look at adding certain training (e.g. first aid if you do not already have it).

The children are both very sociable, chatty, love the outdoors, books, art, being out and about so we would like someone who shares their interest and enthusiasm and who has plenty of energy, initiative and confidence. Apart from that the most important quality to us is definitely reliability as both of us work full time.

We live
- 2 minute walk from Leytonstone high Road station
- 10 minute walk from Leytonstone tube (Central Line)
- 1-2 minute walk from bus routes 257 (Walthamstow - Stratford)and W14 (Woodford bridge to Leyton via Wanstead).

We have two (very laid back) cats, in case that is an issue for you. Both of us work full time and go into the office a few times a week.

Driving licence would be a bonus but not essential.
