About Me
I am a registered childminder with OFSTED and i have many years experience caring and looking after children i am a member of childcare. I have three grown up children of my own. My daughter is registered as my assistant and is first aiid trained so that she can help me when i need her.
I was award Good in my last OFSTED inspection.
My Experience
I provide a home from home environment which is safe and welcoming so that the children can learn and develop whilst playing.The children will have the chance to mix and play with other children. I have a full range of Indoor and outdoor toys suitable for ages 0 to 10 years. These are updated and replaced on a regular basis. Indoor play includes craft activities,role play, pretend play, small world , construction and much more. When weather permits the children have the use of a large well equipped garden, they are supervised at all times. In the summer we have the paddling pool out.
We spent a lot of time outdoors in the fresh air visiting local parks, woods and going on walks. We visit paradise wildlife park on a regular basis to see the animals. We also enjoy visits to farms and going on picnics in the summer. We also meet up with other childminders.
My Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 in child care learning and development.
Diploma for playgroup supervisors in child development.
First Aid trained.
safeguarding.
I keep up to date with the latest developments in child care by attending regular courses.
My Availability
I work monday to friday 7am to 7pm. If needed i will be flexable with the times.

My 2 children have been cared for by Jenny for about 4 years now. One child is ASD and has flourished with Jenny. Both of my children have loved to go to her and Jenny has treated them like they are her own. Jenny has been a massive support to my family and is very much a part of it. We are moving out of area and are going to misd her very much.

Our daughter has been taken care of by Jenny for over 4 years. Jenny provides a fantastic home away from home and welcoming learning environment. Our daughter loves Jenny and her family and has been a big part of her development through her early years. We are very pleased to have found Jenny all those years ago.
When you are choosing someone to trust to help you raise your children choosing the right person is critical. We did!!
We all love Jenny and her family and we are lucky to have them.

Jenny has been our sole childminder for my 5 year old and 2 year old since 10 month old. Jenny has been fantastic, and she genuinely care about children, which is a quality quite hard to find nowadays, she is seen as a nanny by us and by our children, and we thoroughly recommend her service.

My daughter has been with Jenny since she was 10 months old and I was very nervous about leaving her. My daughter has loved going to Jenny from day 1, she settled immediately and to see how happy she is every day she’s there is so reassuring. Jenny is so welcoming and accommodating. Her home is full of things for the kids to do. She does so much with them, my daughter has learnt so much from being with her. I cannot recommend Jenny enough, she truly is an amazing childminder and I’m so grateful for how well she looks after my daughter.

Jenny has been looking after our daughter for over 3 years now and we can't recommend her enough. We were quite anxious as our daughter Charlie was only 6 months old when I went back to work but Jenny helped us to go through that difficult period by being extremely supportive and by providing so much love to Charlie.
What we love about Jenny is that she always keeps the children entertained, she takes them to the local parks/playgrounds, they do arts and crafts, have "parties" or play in the garden. Jenny makes sure that she's got toys suitable for all ages and even tries to accommodate individual needs. At one point our daughter was very much into dinosaurs so Jenny made sure Charlie had lots of dino toys to play with.
Jenny provides us with regular updates on Charlie's development. She is also flexible and understanding which is very important to us as key workers.
Jenny's daughter Charlotte is equally amazing and all the children love her.
We feel lucky to have found Jenny, she's like a member of the family to us.

Being key workers my partner and i are regular having to change shifts at short notice. Jenny is always on hand to help out and is always understanding when she gets the call of sorry we can't get home ! Some one will pick her up later I promise !
Our daughter loves going to Jenny and complains when ever we try to keep her at home for the day. I honestly think that is the best recommendation you could ask for.
