About Me
Hi My name is Claire Turton and I’m a newly Ofsted registered childminder in Kirkby in Ashfield/ Annesley.
I have 2 children aged 21 and 5.
I live with my 5 year old daughter, my partner Paul, who is also DBS checked and Paul has a 9 year old daughter who visits frequently.
We also have 2 loving cats called Rosie and Bella.
I have a passion for working with children and have done so most of my life.
Im very flexible and I will do my best to work around your needs. I offer full day and half day care and also wrap around care dropping off and collecting from Kirkby Woodhouse school.
I also offer the government funding for 2 year olds 3/4 year olds and as of sep 2024 this will extend to the 9 months old funding.
I also accept tax free childcare and universal credit payments.
My Experience
My background has been working with children for most my life.
I have experience with early years, older children and additional needs.
I was previously a teaching assistant with EYFS training and I have also worked with children with additional needs ranging from autism, ADHD and global development delay.
I have also been a childminders assistant and now I have ventured on my own.

Ofsted registered childminder certification
12 hour pediactric first aid certification
Safeguarding certification
Food safety and hygiene certification
Level 3 Teaching assistant certification
