My name is Alessia and I am 21 years old.
I live in London (SE18 3BP) and I am currently studying Psychology at Greenwich University.
I am a hardworking, ambitious person who has developed a mature and responsible approach in order to accomplish meritorious standards in all work undertaken. Due to my internship in a kindergarten and my experience in looking after children abroad, I have good skills in communicating and cooperating with others, especially infants, young children, and families.
I am looking for a part time role, with working hours that are flexible around my University course. Available on weekends (any time), afternoons and evenings.
After finishing high school in Italy, I decided to move to England (Cambridge) and live with a lovely, English host family as an au pair. I looked after two children, a 4-year-old girl and a 5-year-old boy.
Everything about this experience was wonderful, one of the most incredible life experiences I've ever had in my life.
My Experience
I've always loved looking after children and taking care of them. I am a sensitive person, always willing to help other people.
Last year I was responsible for taking care of a one-year-old baby girl and a four-year-old boy, full time, for an average of 35 hours/week. I was caring for all their needs, taking them outdoors, as well as playing at home. I was also responsible for putting the baby girl to sleep during the day and cooking supper for both children.
Two months ago I took an interim role as a nanny while waiting for University to start. I had sole care of a 1 year old (full time). I used to play with her, take her to the park, organise activities both indoor and outdoor, look after her during lunch time and nap time.
My Qualifications
Education and Qualifications:
“Diploma in Classical Gymnasium”
English Language Certificate:
CAE Cambridge Exam - C1 Advanced (Reading, Use of English, Writing and Listening) - C2 Level (Speaking). Certificate in Advanced English.
I am currently studying Psychology at the University of Greenwich (only Mondays and Fridays on Campus, as most teaching is conducted online).

Alessia was out au pair for six months and was super. She is great with children establishing a real rapport. She looked after our daughter and another small boy after school and in the mornings and was imaginative and creative with their time. She is also very loving and caring
I cannot recommend her enough!
