About Me
Hi, I'm Maria, I live together with my husband Florin and our two daughters, Viktoria and Elisa. I'm an Ofsted registered childminder with DBS checks up to date, childcare qualifications, first aid training, and a member of Pacey and Childcare.co.uk. My setting is open all year around, and I offer funded hours from 9 months to 4 years old funding entitlement. I provide a home from home experience for all my mindies. My house is child friendly with lots of toys to play and have fun, both inside and outside. We have an open space living room where the children will play and learn, an open kitchen where we will do lots of cooking, baking, painting, crafting and a big garden with swings, trampoline, climbing frame and playhouse. We have a covered area where the children will play outside in fresh air even if it's raining, and we have a patch of land where we will learn to plant and grow vegetables. Part of our family is our cat Mimi, she's a friendly Birman and she's staying outside her own house. We are welcoming everyone in our home with respect. I provide a home from home setting, where I encourage a friendly, happy, and safe environment for all children. I will take care of each child according to their needs and abilities. I will promote British Values through play and learning activities to stimulate children's development. We will spend time outdoors, in the garden, walking around and about, in the park or planned trips.
My Experience
I have been a mother for 11 years already, sometimes taking care of my 3 years old nephew. I worked 4 years ago, at St. Benedict's infant school in Birmingham as a lunchtime supervisor while studying to become a teaching assistant and volunteer for parents workshops. After obtaining my level 3 qualification as a TA, I was working for different schools and nurseries. In 2017, I was working for NHS as a Romanian interpreter.
My Qualifications
CACHE Level 3 Award in Preparing to Work in Home-based Childcare with Pacey, Pediatric Firstaid training, Safeguarding, FGM, prevention and control of infection, prevent duty, CACHE Diploma Support Teaching and Learning in Schools level 3, GCSE Maths A grade, Honours Degree of Engineering- Designer of wood furniture.
My Availability
I'm open from 7:00am -6:00pm, Monday till Saturday, offer flexibility if requires.

Maria took her time to get to know my daughter, to understand her and she was willing to let my daughter lead how well and fast she would get accommodated at hers. She was willing to do a longer and lengthy settling in period to suit my toddler. Maria has been very open about my requests and suggestions when and where I thought are better for my child and very accommodating. We are grateful she accepted my daughter to join the children she cares for and we hope she will be able to look after our second child well in the future. Overall as a family we are very happy, relaxed, calm and very pleased with Maria and her approach. Definitely recommend!!

Maria is a very kind, thoughtful and caring person. She is doing an amazing job with my son and she really seems to understand him.
Her home is very warm and welcoming. I can appreciate why my son loves going there and I love it when he brings back art work he has done there/or made home gifts.
I really recommend Maria and hope she continues to be my son's childminder for a long time to come. ❤️

Maria was very kind and helpful to me. Her advice helped me to find the best care for my daughter.
Her voice is lovely, and the communication gives the reassurance to the parents that their child is well looked after while the parents are away. I will definitely recommend Maria as a best child minder.

Well where do I start there are not enough words or space to describe this wonderful thoughtful lady - after a bad experience with a previous childminder she put my worries at ease - my 2 children love being there ans knowing they are safe and happy is all a mother needs x
I am so glad I found her , I have asked for extra hours at short notice and she agreed , again she is lovely welcoming completes so many activities with them once again she is AMAZING!!!! ❤️❤️💓
