I have a passion for the care of others. From a young age I was involved in charity work and volunteering in education settings. University was a stepping stone for me to expand my passion and skills to supporting children and families. I am a very open minded, understanding and kind person with knowledge in early years teaching, special needs, high level behavioural and emotional support. I am currently studying at Leeds Beckett as a mature student training to become a psychotherapist.

I have vast experience within education and residential care settings. I understand the importance of therapeutic care as well as academic support for student. I have supported and cared for children from the age of 4 up to 16/17.
I have knowledge of the national curriculum, EYFS, developmental and behavioural challenges within education and the importance of boundaries.
I have knowledge of current social issues, safeguarding, child protection, family care, self harm, mental health first aid, gang affiliation training etc.
