About Me
I have a passion for the care of others. From a young age I was involved in charity work and volunteering in education settings. University was a stepping stone for me to expand my passion and skills to supporting children and families. I am a very open minded, understanding and kind person with knowledge in early years teaching, special needs, high level behavioural and emotional support. I currently work from home in the mornings due to Covid 19 and teach a student Monday-Friday 12-3.
My Experience
I have a Full DBS Check. I am trained in TCI. I have paediatric first aid and Emergency first aid certificates.
I have vast experience within education and residential care settings. I understand the importance of therapeutic care as well as academic support for student. I have supported and cared for children from the age of 4 up to 16/17.
I have knowledge of the national curriculum, EYFS, developmental and behavioural challenges within education and the importance of boundaries.
I hope to study play therapy and psychology I’m the near future and apply myself to such role within family and care settings.
My Qualifications
14 GCSEs
English, maths and science above grade C
Degree in Health and Social Care
My Availability
As I currently teach 12-3 I available in the mornings and after school. I am available through summer holidays for relief care if need be. I have business insurance on my car and a full DBS.
