About Me

I am an outgoing, creative, professional individual who has worked within the childcare sector for many years. Even though the majority of my career has been within day nurseries, working my way up from a general practitioner to a nursery manager, I have always been very present within the settings. I form strong relationships with all the children and parents in my care, providing a range of fun stimulating activities that are in line with the childrens interests and developmental outcomes.

During my time in the childcare sector, I have had experience working with babies through to school-age children . I am confident in adapting my approach to individuals and their needs and developmental age groups. I understand the importance of creating a routine to support both the child and family to ensure the children thrive in the environment they are in.

I am an outgoing individual who loves maintaining a healthy active lifestyle. I love being outdoors in all weather going out for long walks and exploring the natural environment. I believe that social experiences are pivotal in children's development, therefore I would enjoy taking them to classes and socialising with other children. I love planning a range of activities that meet the children's interests and promote their developmental progress, I particularly enjoy messy play, arts and crafts and outdoor exploration and of course incorporting events which are celebrated throughout the year. I am interested in health and nutrition, confidently cooking a range of nourishing meals, adapting to preferences and allergies where needed.

Becoming a nanny would be a joy. To be able to form relationships with the children and family and seeing them develop and flourish and being able to provide them with a fun stimulating environment for them to excell.
