About Me
My name is Millie. I live alone and I am based in Deeping St James but I am familiar with the local area and so I am not restricted in travelling locally to provide childcare. I am a highly compassionate and enthusiastic individual who strives off supporting and caring for others. I am a keen lover of the outdoors and love to get children out of the house to explore and make full use of local amenities on offer in order to enhance learning and sensory play.
My Experience
Previous babysitting and informal nannying experience; regular childcare for a now 6 year old child. Started when he was one year old until he started school. This consisted of following a routine of feeding, bathing, sleep-training and potty-training. Many ad-hoc babysitting jobs of a similar nature, some of which became quite regular and one included full weekend care whilst parents were away. I have extensive experience caring for children; age ranges from 0-12 years old. I currently work in Welfare & Safeguarding within education so I am familiar with unique learning needs and difficulties. I have an Enhanced DBS Check, which I can provide evidence of and I am Designated Safeguarding Lead trained. I am happy to have children in my own home or in your house.
My Qualifications
Enhanced DBS Check, First Aid Certificate. Child Protection Level 2 Certificate, Health and Safety Level 2 Certificate. DSL Certificate. Level 2 and 3 Health and Social Care at a grade A.
My Availability
I am only available in the evenings as I work 8:30-5 Monday to Friday. I am just looking to make some extra money and childcare has always been something I enjoy.
